Over the last months, the EU-Viet Nam Energy Facility, hosted by the GIZ Energy Support Programme, has been working on the development of a “Handbook for Managing Technical and Operational Risks of Ground-Mounted Solar PV Projects in Viet Nam”. The Handbook brings together theoretical methods for setting up risk management strategies at project level and practical experiences and recommendations to reduce the exposure to risks of operating and future ground-mounted Solar PV assets in Viet Nam.
The final draft of the Handbook is now available for download and we hereby would like to invite Solar PV sector stakeholders for a consultation workshop on 27 October 2021. The aim of the workshop is to gather feedback from project developers, project managers and other relevant technical experts to validate the content and usefulness of the Handbook before it is officially published.
During the workshop, the Handbook will be briefly presented by the EVEF team and consultants and subsequently the floor will be opened to questions and feedback. To allow participating stakeholders to provide useful feedback, we kindly invite you to read the Draft Handbook before the workshop and prepare your questions and comments in advance.
In response to the current Covid-19 pandemic situation in Viet Nam, the workshop will be held online via MS Teams. Upon your registration below, the MS Team dial-in link will be sent to you via email in the 48 hours before the workshop.
