2nd Call for Expression of Interest for EVEF Technical Assistance

The EU – Viet Nam Energy Facility (EVEF) launches a Request for Expression of Interest for energy sector stakeholders to receive Technical Assistance. The deadline for submission of EOI is 12 PM (noon), 13 January 2020.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                

The Facility invites stakeholders from ministries and public institutions at national and provincial level (who do not belong to Ministry of Industry and Trade), as well as other key energy stakeholders from the private sector, higher education and research institutions, and from civil society to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to receive EVEF’s support in four areas: Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Energy Access, and Energy Information.

The thematic focus area of the second request in December 2019 is Innovation, Partnerships and Networks – Knowledge Sharing and Technology Transfer to support the market development for renewable energy and energy efficiency in Viet Nam

Only Expression of Interests which have direct link and address this thematic focus area will be considered for Technical Assistance from EVEF.

Requested Technical Assistance should consists of activities that enable technology transfer, capacity building and awareness raising, and/or work on regulatory framework. Please note: Only technical assistance can be provided under the EVEF; no financial assistance can be made available.

The deadline for submissions of Expressions of Interest is 12:00 (noon), Viet Nam time, 13 January 2020.

Eligible activities must have an implementation period of maximum 12 months and an estimated cost of minimum EUR 50,000 and maximum EUR 125,000.

The technical assistance should be tentatively implemented from July 2020 to July 2021.
