Global Energy Alliance is inviting qualified consulting firms to submit proposals for two opportunities aimed at accelerating #grid modernization, strengthening #energy#storage integration and unlocking private investment in Vietnam’s
#power sector.
• RFP 1: Development of a distribution grid digitalization framework
Support Vietnam’s Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) and Electricity Authority of Vietnam (EAV) in developing a framework to modernize distribution grids, strengthen digital capabilities and support the integration of emerging energy technologies.
• RFP 2: Promoting private investment in grid-scale battery energy storage systems (#BESS)
Conduct a study to identify viable business models, remuneration mechanisms, and regulatory reforms that can accelerate private investment in stand-alone grid-scale BESS across Vietnam.
Eligibility: Both opportunities are open to consulting firms with an established local presence in Vietnam and a demonstrated track record of working with both EAV and Vietnam Electricity (EVN).
