EU Energy Day at COP26: the EU leading the global energy transition
Since 2016, the European Commission has been organizing EU Energy Days in order to present the EU’s experience in promoting clean energy and its upcoming initiatives, share knowledge and expertise with international partners, and give networking opportunities to businesses, innovators and investors.
On 5th November 2021, EU Energy Day is organized at the EU Pavilion of the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow. It offers a series of high-level sessions that will highlight the EU’s leadership in the energy transition and engagement towards a global green recovery and just transition. Each session will allow policy-makers, CEOs, and civil society leaders to discuss global initiatives advancing the Paris Agreement’s objectives.

This session is co-organized with IEA and IRENA.
All side events are held in hybrid format, with main speakers on-site and all other participants following the discussions online.
