
Launching workshop “Biomass Gasification Technology- Sustainable Energy Solution for Agri-Food processing and Waste Management in Rural Areas of Vietnam” (BEST)
The Project “Biomass Gasification Technology- Sustainable Energy Solution for Agri-Food processing and Waste Management in Rural Areas of Vietnam” (BEST) funded by the European Union is implemented by Oxfam in Vietnam and the Center for Creativity and Sustainability Study and Consultancy (CCS) in four years from 2020 to 2024 in Thai Nguyen, Lao Cai, Tuyen Quang, and Yen Bai. The project’s overall objective is to promote sustainable agri-food processing and contribute to enhancing waste management in Vietnam by facilitating the adoption of volumetric continuous biomass gasification (VCBG) technology as renewable energy among local agri- micro and small enterprises.
Therefore, Oxfam and Thai Nguyen Province People’s Committee co-organized the Project launching workshop to introduce the Project to relevant national and provincial authorities, development organizations, the private sector, and the beneficiaries. The detailed information is as below:
