UK’s ASEAN LOW CARBON ENERGY PROGRAMME has been supporting the Government of Viet Nam with the aim to scale up offshore wind generation in a sustainable and affordable manner, focusing on: Project finance; Developing mechanism and process for procurement of offshore wind projects; Mechanism and institutions for leasing and licensing marine/seabed are; and Seabed use for offshore wind in Viet Nam
On 21 March 2023, UK’s Asean Low Carbon Energy Programme in cooperation with the EREA/MOIT will organize a seminar which includes presentations and discussion on:
- Seabed Leasing and Licensing recap 10 mins
- Seabed use for offshore wind in Vietnam 15 mins
- Q&A 30 mins – this is the most important part
