Under the framework of the Vietnam Energy Partnership Group, the Technical Working Group 5 on Energy Market co-chaired by the Oil, Gas and Coal Department (MOIT) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), the US Embassy will organize the first meeting in 2024 on Thursday, 23 May 2024, from 14:00 to 16:30 (registration from 13:30).

The objective of the meeting is to discuss the orientation and actions for hydrogen and LNG development in accordance with Vietnam’s net-zero emissions targets by 2050. The meeting will focus on in-depth discussions between the partners and MOIT. This will be the basis for further cooperation between our partners and the MOIT. We encourage you to contribute to the meeting by sharing your expertise, information as well as your proposals and recommendations. Should you have any questions on the focused topics, please do not hesitate to share it at the meeting or send it to us prior to the meeting via the Secretariat email.
