At COP26, the Prime Minister announced that Viet Nam will achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050, inspiring the bioenergy sector to further develop. Therefore, the EREA of the MOIT and GIZ will jointly hold the workshop on “Bioenergy development to serve Viet Nam’s Cop26 commitments” to share and exchange hands-on experience in bioenergy project implementation and solutions to cut down on greenhouse gas emissions.

Within the framework of the project “Climate Protection through Sustainable Bioenergy Markets in Viet Nam” (BEM), the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority (EREA) in collaboration with the German Agency for International Cooperation (GIZ) organized a workshop on “Bioenergy development to serve Viet Nam’s COP26 commitments“.

You are invited to participate in the virtual workshop to exchange and share practical experiences in the implementation of bioenergy projects in Vietnam as well as measures to reduce carbon emissions.
