Workshop on Approach and Preliminary results of the Vietnam Energy Outlook Report 2019
The EREA and DEA will present the approach and preliminary results of the Vietnam Energy Outlook 2019. The EOR19 was developed by the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority in cooperation with the Danish Energy Agency under the DEPP.
Under the Energy Partnership Programme between Vietnam and Denmark 2017-2020 (DEPP), the Electricity and Renewable Energy Authority (EREA) has been cooperating with the Danish Energy Agency (DEA) to develop the Vietnam Energy Outlook 2019 (EOR19). The EOR19 will include key findings and policy recommendations on core issues for the long-term development of the Vietnam energy system. Furthermore, the EOR19 will be a useful support to EREA in the development of the National Power Development Plan 8 as well the Energy Master Plan.
4 April 2019 at 8.00-12.15 a consultation workshop in Hanoi on approach and preliminary results of the EOR19 will be conducted. At the workshop the approach of the EOR19 will be clarified and preliminary model results and key findings will be discussed. Among topics covered will be what data is used, what model setup is used, how will the technology mix develop under different scenarios and what will the consequence for cost, RE-share and climate be.
