On May 15th, GIZ is going to facilitate the Workshop & Exhibitions on “State-of-the-art technologies to promote variable renewable energy (vRE) integration toward Clean Energy Transition “, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK) within the framework of the bilateral Vietnamese – German Energy Dialogue.

Venue: Foreign Relations Hotel, 33C Pham Ngu Lao, Phan Chu Trinh, Hoan Kiem, Hanoi, Vietnam

The event covers 02 main parts including Workshop and Exhibition:

The expected 04 thematic topics at the Workshop include: (1) Smart Grid and vRE integration technology; (2) Optimization solutions of Decentralized Energy Resources incl., E-mobility technology & ESS technology; (3) Technology to reutilize/transform fossil fuel-based power plants; and (4) Technology to reutilize/transform fossil fuel-based power plants.

The Exhibition will feature the demonstration of the latest technologies to support vRE integration. The Exhibition will take place simultaneously and throughout the day with the participation of 12 companies from both domestic and international backgrounds (Germany, Europe and Viet Nam)

The event is expected to create a dynamic forum for exchange and networking among representatives from both public and private sectors in Viet Nam, including domestic and international technology providers. This platform will facilitate discussions on new ideas and the latest advancements in technology for vRE integration.
